TV & Data Points

TV Points, Wall Mounting & Data Cabling

Wi-Fi drops out; a hardwired CAT6 point doesn't. We run data cabling for home offices, gaming rooms, security cameras and access points, and install TV points with the cables hidden inside the wall so nothing hangs below the screen.

For commercial sites we install structured cabling, patch panels and comms cabinets, tested and labelled.

What's included

  • TV points and antenna outlets
  • TV wall mounting with concealed cabling
  • CAT6 data points and structured cabling
  • Wi-Fi access point installation
  • Patch panels and comms cabinets
  • Home office and study networking
  • Power point behind the TV
  • Testing and labelling of all runs

Worth doing when

  • Wi-Fi is unreliable at the back of the house
  • Cables hang visibly under a mounted TV
  • You work from home on video calls
  • You're adding cameras or access points
  • A new office fit-out needs cabling

How it works

  1. 1

    Plan the runs

We agree outlet positions and cable paths before we start.

  2. 2

    Cable and terminate

Runs pulled through the cavity, terminated and tested.

  3. 3

    Mount and finish

TV mounted level, wall patched, and everything labelled.

What it costs

Priced per outlet and per run. Double-storey and brick-wall runs cost more. TV wall mounting is a fixed price including a concealed power point.

Licensing & compliance

Data cabling is installed by appropriately registered cablers and separated correctly from electrical cabling.

Questions

TV & Data Points — common questions

Can you hide the cables in the wall?

In stud walls, always. In double brick we use a recessed conduit or a neat surface channel painted to match.

Is CAT6 worth it over Wi-Fi?

For desktops, TVs, consoles and access points, absolutely — it's faster, stable and future-proof.

Do you supply the TV bracket?

We can supply, or install one you've already bought.
