Residential Electrician

Residential Electrician in Perth's Southern Suburbs

From a tripping safety switch at 6am to a full lighting refit in a Hammond Park two-storey, our residential electricians handle every job in the home with the same care: shoes off, drop sheets down, and the work explained in plain English before we start.

We work across Jandakot, Success, Atwell, Aubin Grove, Treeby, Piara Waters and the wider Cockburn area, so we know the housing stock — from 1980s Spearwood brick-and-tile with ageing ceramic fuses to brand new Wandi builds where the builder left half the downlights on one circuit.

What it costs

Most residential jobs are quoted up front as a fixed price. Cost depends on access (single vs double storey, roof space clearance), the age of your wiring, and whether the switchboard needs work to support the new circuit. We tell you the number before the tools come out.

Licensing & compliance

All work is completed by WA licensed electricians and certified to AS/NZS 3000 (the Wiring Rules). You receive an Electrical Safety Certificate for prescribed work.

Questions

Residential Electrician — common questions

Do you charge a call-out fee?

We quote each job up front, so you know the total before we begin. If you'd prefer an hourly rate for small works, we'll tell you the rate on the phone.

Can you do the work while I'm at work?

Yes — plenty of our customers leave a key or use a lockbox. We'll send photos when the job is finished.

How old is 'too old' for house wiring?

Most homes wired before the mid-1980s in areas like Spearwood, Coogee and Bibra Lake are worth inspecting. Rubber-insulated cable and boards without RCDs are the two big red flags.
